Vancouver Canuck Raffi Torres may never have been thought of as a legitimate scoring threat during his career, but let me tell you: on that first goal of his against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night, definite shades of Happy Gilmore. It's somewhat fitting that he notched his first hat trick against the Oilers, the team for which he played four seasons and with which he had his best one, scoring 41 points back in 2005-2006.
