The Calgary Flames signed Brendan Morrison on Monday to a one-year, $750,000 deal
and in this short video you can kind of see why as the most important goal of his career came six years ago in a triple-overtime victory for the Vancouver Canucks against the Flames in the two teams' Western Conference quarterfinal series. While the Canucks could not find room for him after granting him a try-out, the Flames were more than happy to offer him a contract for this season after their well-documented injuries at the center position. Even an over-the-hill center is better than no center at all... unless that over-the-hill center is Craig Conroy, though.
