Keeley's Korner - The Hunks of Hockey 2.0

The GetRealHockey Gmail account went crazy after I wrote my first article on the Hunks of Hockey.  Ladies all over the planet emailed me with comments and suggestions so I had  no choice but to hit the laptop and write another edition of the Hunks of Hockey.

I am here in between all the articles on goals and fights to show the most important part of the beautiful game; the beauty !!!  Sorry boys but us ladies love our favorite players on and off the ice. Who wouldn't love a gorgeous, hockey playing , multi millionaire !!!

Anyways close your eyes boys and ladies get ready for The Hunks of Hockey 2.0.   Check out the pics of my favorites and don't forget to email me (getrealhockey@gmail.com) with your favorites for the next edition of my column.

Boston wonderboy Tyler Seguin is only 20 years old, but with his exceptional talent and his killer smile, it’s no wonder he’s already managed to make a name for himself in the league – both on and off the ice. With the amazing shirtless photos from the Bruins Foxwood celebrations a few years ago still being talked about, there’s no doubt that Seguin’s earned his spot on the list. (Plus he saw The Vow – who doesn’t love a guy who can actually admit he’s got a softer side?)

John Tavares has always been exceptional and 200 games into his NHL career and in the middle of what some are calling his ‘break-out’ year, that fact does not seem to be changing soon. With his hockey hair, amazing smile – and, let’s face it, his abs are kind of amazing as well – it’s easy to see why he’s as popular off the ice as he is on it.

Now, Ryan Kesler was covered last time – but after looking around a bit more, more photo’s have come up making it impossible to not put him up here again. In the ESPN Body issue, Kesler took it a step further then his underwear modeling shots and took it all off. There’s nothing to say really but wow; just…wow.

Anyways, I have to get off to class now.  Hopefully the prof won't mind me day dreaming about the NHL and all those pretty faces.

The Hunks of Hockey - Letang, Lundqvist and Kesler are legendary

This one is for all us ladies.  God knows we love our boys of winter and we like it when they rack up the goals and victories.  But, if you are like me, we also love the boys of winter hanging out on "vaca"; rolling around on the bed, or getting dressed to kill. I am new to GetRealHockey but I will do my best to bring some of the better and cuter parts of the "beautiful" game to this blog.  Yes, I know some of you love Maxim Lapierre and then again some of you can't live without him.  Patrick Sharp and Brandon Dubinski also have their crazy fan base who worship the ground they walk on. Today however we are going to go out there and look at some of the boys I love.  My blog post so my rules. :)
Here are my three choices for tonight's post.  I now that not everyone will agree but I think this is a good start.

Kris Letang is a must have for all us ladies.  The man is a genius on the blue line and not so bad hanging out in his trunk.  He makes all the Pens look beautiful on the power play and he brings the beautiful IQ on and off the ice.

Henrik Lundqvist is the most beautiful thing in the Big Apple.  Thanks god that goalies play with a mask.  Relaxing in bed is a nice look for our power Ranger.  Love him. Yum...Yum...

Ryan Kesler is well Ryan Kesler.  Full of talent, six pack, and well you know what.  This pic gives us all a reason to watch a Canucks game and smile in secret while the men around us cheer like idiots.

I hope everyone enjoyed these pics because I know I did.   See ya next time and don't forget to send in your selections for my next post on the Hunks of Hockey.

Vancouver Canucks to Take On Montreal Canadiens - This Could Get Ugly

The Vancouver Canucks come into Montreal tonight and take on the struggling Habs at the Bell Center. The Canucks have done a complete 360 since the start of the season and they are now in a winning mindset.  The team is playing like the team which went to Stanley Cup Final last year.

The Sedin twins are in sync as usual and the rest of the crew is led by Ryan Kesler.  Daniel Sedin totally destroyed the Avalanche’s confidence in their last game with a three goal performance. The Canucks have swagger and confidence and it showing in spades.  Luongo and Schneider are an unreal goalie tandem.

The 6-0 drubbing of the Avs should be a real concern for Montreal.  The Habs have the poorest home record in the NHL and we suspect they will get steam rolled when they take on this high octane group from the West Coast.

Carey Price should be under serious fire from the get go. Price has been carrying Montreal on his back since the start of the year but he is just a great goalie and not GOD.  We feel sorry for the Habs netminder.  The constant lack of support from his team has to be playing with his head.  We urge all Habs fans to keep their chin up and support Price.  Maybe a drubbing by the Canucks will be a good thing.

Maybe this will be the catalyst to get change activated in the head office of the Habs.  A complete redrawing of the map has to be on the Canadiens agenda.
