Looks like hockey fans will have a full plate tonight. There are some amazing games on the slate in the NHL. We think fanes should expect the unexpected. It has been a heck of a roller coaster so far this year in the NHL; red hot teams have turned cold and expected champions are showing signs of life. We still like the Capitals for the Cup and we are very impressed with the Oilers. Everything else is up in the air. Issues and drama are plaguing teams in unexpected and unfavorable ways. The Luongo saga in Vancouver is keeping the Canucks from exploding higher and Ovechkin on the bench or not (@ critical times) seems to be casting a shadow over the Capitals right now.
Some of the primo match ups for this evening should be a special treat for hockey junkies. We have the red hot Bruins clashing with the Sabres. The Maple Leafs are trying to extend their winning streak against the cardiac kids otherwise known as the Ottawa Senators. The best game tonight should be the Red Wings and Stars. Many of these games are a toss up but on the premise of putting our asses on the line; we like the Bruins, Leafs and Stars in these match ups. Buckle down guys and enjoy. Great hockey is great hockey ; no matter who you support.
